lets talk

Small groups was our very first request for a topic (you can send your topic requests to talkaboutym@gmail.com). So here we go!

Small Groups are the lifeblood for many youth ministries, and for good reason! I’ve often said that if I was told by our Pastor that we could only do ONE thing in our ministry the one thing we would do is small groups. Workshops have been taught and books written on the topic, and today we add a few simple “Good, Bad and #SMH” thoughts of our own on the newest episode of “Let’s Talk About Youth Ministry”.

    Greeting Brother Johnston,
I was given the great opportunity to head a small group of teenagers (13-17) in our youth ministry. Your website is so informative and I thank GOD for it’s existence. I want to these young ladies to know that they can live fulfilling lives WHILE STILL living within a GODLY standard. I have asked God to show me where to “lead and teach” these young ladies. He lead me to your website. It si most insightful and I thank you for your obedience to HIM in it’s creation. May GOd bless you and your ministry.
    Your Sister in Christ,
    Annette
