POLL: Would you attend your church if you weren't the youth pastor?

 —  June 15, 2011 — 4 Comments

This post from last week got a fair amount of traffic/energy from some youth workers, so thought I would base this week’s poll on the same question: if you weren’t a youth worker at your current church, would you attend there?

  1. I did for 2 years before I was on staff . . . I LOVE our church!

  2. I do like my church, and I started attending there because a friend went there. We worked with the youth for around 2 years before we became official youth pastors. Our small church has marketing problems though. If I was new to the area, I don’t think our church would be the first place I would look into. We barely have a website.

  3. Our church is the best that I know – I would be here even if I worked a completely different job.

  4. I said “yes” because I love my church, and it is definitely one that I would be happy attending. If I was not on staff at my church, though, there is a church plant in my area that I would probably actually attend.
