Making Announcements Fun and Memorable

 —  October 27, 2011 — 4 Comments

This weekend we did our best to make announcements memorable with ParkerBot the Awkward Robot. The idea was to announce our Pumpkinfest event coming this Friday night – so during the middle of the traditional announcement we had the robot come on stage and interact with the emcee. It was a funny bit – I think that the robot is going to make an appearance at the event, too.

Just saw that we posted a little video of it, too. Fun!

  1. What did you use for his mouth? Looks fun – I’m tempted to steal the idea!

  2. JG… You have taught me to always take make this a memorable time. The videos have inspired us to make some of our own. This past week, I got to wax the back and chest of one of my volunteers! It was amazingly fun. I love those kinds of volunteers.

Great way to make that memorable! I love it. It looked like maybe you were using an iPhone for the mouth? What was the app? Very cool. and awkward. “I enjoy hanging out with you too.”
