Just crossed the 40,000 mark on the Xbox 360 tonight – thanks in part to some fun gaming with friends on the kids’ new Kinect today (more on that soon). Our Gamerscore received a bump because of games like Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 (A-), IL-2 Birds of Prey (C), and Bionic Commando (B). Good times!

  1. Congrats. I tried to write you a message before you hit 40k, but couldn’t get the contact us link to connect. I’m at 34k. If you can grab Mastermind, it’s an easy 1k. It just came out this week, but it is very glitchy and you have to play through levels some.

I’ve got this nerdy ambition to be the youth pastor with the highest gamescore at SYMC in March. But I’m close to 6k down on you, so we’ll see.

You are awesome, and I appreciate everything your team does to help people like me in YM.

  2. i mean that you have through play through some levels multiple times (with Mastermind). But it’s still an easy 1k. 4-5 hours maybe.

  3. I’m dumb, the game is called Megamind. I noticed this in the McDonald’s drive thru today. And now I feel like a stalker for posting 3 times in a row on your blog.

  4. I’m very impressed. I’ve been working on mine, but I haven’t had live that long so I’m only at 6,000. I have jumped up 2,000 points in the last couple of weeks though. I borrowed a Kinect and some of those games have some super easy quick achievements, especially Kinect Sports

  5. Is there any thing besides bragging rights that comes with points?

  6. Do you really need anything more than bragging rights? I’ve made it a secret goal to be ahead of Josh at SYMC. Which is probably creepy, but I’m okay with that. I’d like to be the youth pastor with the most. But I’m about 4k behind him.
